These past few weeks have been extremely stressful, so today I decided to spend the entire day outside in nature, de-stressing and getting back to what I love most: photographing nature. ☺️
The Allen Gardens in Toronto is a place I visit quite often. But it’s a place I will never get tired of. It’s my happy place.
I love portrait photography, but what I love more is photographing nature and wildlife and capturing my surroundings as they are. There’s something special about freezing a moment in time as it is.
A few weeks ago I did a dance-themed photoshoot at sunrise by the Scarborough Bluffs, and in between the shoot, I couldn’t help but photograph a bit of our surroundings! Below are my favourite shots from that morning.
One of my favourite things about Toronto is that no matter how cold it is outside, you can always find a warm tropical indoor paradise somewhere in the city. Today, it happened to be the Allan Gardens Conservatory. I initially headed out today thinking of getting some nice shots of the winter storm, but it ended up being way too cold for my fingers to handle – felt like -15 degrees C!
The sun is finally shining in Toronto!! 😀
I took this photo in my backyard during a snowfall, and I love the gentle nature of how the snow sits on the leaf. All it takes is a single blow of wind to knock it all out of place.
Here’s a little throwback to warmer autumn days at High Park. It’s one of my favourite places to visit in the city!
