One of my goals this year is to photograph a snowy owl. It’s one of the main reasons we make our way out to Tommy Thompson Park as much as we can – it’s said to be a hot spot for birds, especially snowy owls.(more…)

It’s the end of December, and I’m just now catching up on editing/posting photos from the summer/fall! It’s been a whirlwind of a year, to say the least.
Back in August, we hiked the Orchard trail again at Rouge Park. I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again – this is by far one of the best trails in the GTA in my opinion.
A few weeks ago I saw an article on Digital Photography School about freezing flowers and photographing them to get cool macro shots, so I thought I’d give it a try.
These past few weeks have been extremely stressful, so today I decided to spend the entire day outside in nature, de-stressing and getting back to what I love most: photographing nature. ☺️
