Vibrant, fun and full of energy – that’s how I would describe the wonderful Kate Austin. That’s also exactly how I would describe her designs!
If there’s one social media platform that I had to pick as my favourite, without a doubt it would be Instagram!
The Allen Gardens in Toronto is a place I visit quite often. But it’s a place I will never get tired of. It’s my happy place.
Have you ever found yourself thinking there’s nothing interesting around you to photograph? It’s a common complaint, but the best way to hone your skills is to learn to find the beauty in even the most mundane surroundings. Sometimes all it takes is a little creativity and a change in perspective!
My husband and I spent our Sunday morning by the lake, watching the sunrise. Usually at sunrise, I’m looking up at the sun and the sky. But this day, I looked down at the lake, and was mesmerized by the patterns and shimmering sparkles that the light was casting on the water. I’ve seen it many times before, but for some reason it just seemed so perfect this day.

Last summer my family and I visited a relative’s farm up in Uxbridge, Ontario. Being the animal lover that I am, seeing all the goats run around just filled me with joy! Below are some of my fave photos from the day:
On day 11, we drove back to Granada from San Juan Del Sur, and spent our last day together, just relaxing and reminiscing on this trip of a lifetime.
On day 12, we were all headed to the airport and returning home. The following is something I wrote on my phone while in the air, while sorting through my thoughts:
Day 9 of our trip to Nicaragua was Beach Day! We went to Playa Madera, a surfer’s paradise! The waves were huge, and extremely powerful. It was also my first time in the pacific ocean, which was pretty cool. And of course the food and drinks were amazing! We left our camera’s behind this day, to experience the day and just have fun, so unfortunately I have no photos to share.
On Day 10, our last day in San Juan Del Sur, we visited the San Juan Del Sur (SJDS) library.
