DIY Bokeh – Aperture FIlters

Bokeh is a popular effect in photography these days, and it can be a lot of fun to play around with as a budding photographer!

This neat tutorial that I recently discovered will give you a very simple yet cool way to spice up your bokeh even further, by creating aperture filters with shapes such as hearts and stars!

I made mine with black construction paper from the dollar store. Wasn’t very sturdy (it ended up ripping apart as I tried to turn it), but it got the job done. 🙂
